Coach Demetrius was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He is a rising senior studying Economics and Public Health at Morehouse College. She was a competitive swimmer for 8 years and has been teaching private lessons for 4 years. She is now the assistant coach for the Pangborn Swim Club. She has loved working with kids these past years and is excited to continue doing so!

Gemma is a former competitive swimmer, having competed for 5 years and high school varsity swimming at St. Pius X all four years. She has been coaching summer league swimming for 5 years and this will be her second summer working at SWAP. Gemma is a rising sophomore at Louisiana State University, majoring in mechanical engineering and is also a manager of the LSU Swimming and Diving team. Brittany began swimming at an early age. She swam in high school (mainly sprints) for Arlington Aquatic Club in Arlington Virginia. Brittany has been lifeguard since she 15 and has been teaching group and private lessons for the past 3 years. She is now a rising senior at Spelman College with a major in Comparative Women's Studies with a concentration in Women's health and a public health minor.
Jennifer was the kid who wouldn't stay on the wall during swim classes, she was so eager to just go swim already! She started teaching swim lessons as soon as she could get certified, and taught for seven years at her local YMCA. She has since taught private lessons at the Jewish Community Center of Washington, D.C., in Chicagoland, and even in hotel pools of Cote D'Ivoire! Ellie is a rising Senior at Dunwoody High School. Ellie has been teaching lessons for 3 years and is another veteran at SWAP. She’s a competitive swimmer and is a member of the Dunwoody High School Varsity Swim Team. Ellie is a volunteer coach with the Metro Atlanta Aquatic Club working the 7 year old and under swimmers. She is awesome with children and we are excited to have her on the team again this summer.
Carlos was a four year varsity letter swimmer for Southwest DeKalb High school before competing on the collegiate level at Wingate University. As a sprint butter flyer, Carlos helped lead the Wingate Bulldogs to winning a conference championship three years in a row.
